great product September 5, 2010 suzanne pike (NJ, USA) I needed something to record some classes Im taking, since I have an ipod touch this is perfect
Not for the Classic September 5, 2010 Patricia S. Rudden A number of third-party sellers advertise this as compatible with the iPod Classic, but when mine arrived it did absolutely nothing in my Classic. I think it may work in my Nano, but that remains to be seen.
Meanwhile the Eforcity site does NOT list the Classic as a model with which it is compatible. Wish I'd gone there to begin with.
NOT WORK AT ALL September 1, 2010 OMG This is NOT working at all in my iPod touch. The iPod touch can connect to it, but not record the voice at all.
Since it's very cheap, I could not even think to return it because I don't want to spend my time waiting in line in the post office.
Recording Away August 31, 2010 Carolyn Kae Cobb I really like this mic. It picks up sound exceptionally well and I use it all the time.
Would recommend it to anyone. It is easy to carry with you and easy to use.
Glad I got it!
Far exceeded expectations relative to price ($2) August 29, 2010 Randall N. Douglas (rochester, mn United States) Basically, I was skeptical if this would even work. Not only is it still working, but the sound quality is decent. For note taking (which this type of mike is designed for) it's great, also my daughter records her voice for games (pretty good quality, and hear the syllabels) and recordings of her clarinet (compressed sounding and not ideal for this use, but better than I thought -- for example audio is better than vids with 2 year old kodak easy share 7mp camera using its built in mic).
For $2, you shouldn't expect more than than that. I'm amazed.
